Vision 2010
Omega Phi Alpha's strategic plan and vision for the next 5 years!
Omega Phi Alpha is committed to long-range planning as well as setting annual goals. Currently we are in the final days of the Vision 2005 plan that was developed during the 2000-2001 school year and adopted by the Convention 2001 delegation.
Leann Williams, National President, appointed Anita Landry, National Executive Secretary, to chair the Vision 2010 committee this year. The committee was tasked with developing a strategic plan for the next five years that could be presented to the 2005 Convention delegation in Phoenix.
Anita recruited several alumnae, NEB, and active representatives to make up the Vision 2010 team, and Sarah VanDyke, National VP Advancement Planning, VP Communications, and also a current MPA student studying strategic planning, is volunteering her "education" as a consultant for the committee.
Many members of the Vision 2010 team met in person in late March to participate in a one-day retreat where they will identified strategic issues, brainstormed strategies, and discussed an implementation plan.
Progress and Accomplished Tasks
Many revisions and input will be required throughout the entire process from February 2005-July 2005. Below you can view the timeline the committee is working with, and other completed elements in the process. Additionally, you can view the basic steps in the planning process below.
