To ensure we get the best possible women for the positions, the national petition for office was revised in 2003.  In addition to the revamped application, which will include questions about your background and ask for 3 references--we recommend the references include 1 professional, 1 personal, and 1 OPA, we also ask that you submit a resume and a photo (preferably a head shot). 

You should also know that if you were elected to a fiscally responsible position, you would enter office pending a criminal background check. 

Any petition submitted will be posted online for the delegation to see in advance, pending your permission.  The only information posted will be your picture and OPA information you provide.  Information should be posted about July 1, 2008.
