Colorado Rockies Game
   
On Friday, July 18, Rock Stars will have the opportunity to attend a Colorado Rockies game vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates.  The cost will be $35/ticket.  If you would like to attend, please make note on your fee page of the registration form.  We will leave the hotel at approximately 6pm to arrive to Coors Stadium in time to get our seats and see the first pitch at 7:05pm. Friends and family members are welcome to join us!  ** Please note: you MUST register and pay IN FULL before JUNE 15 in order to attend the Rockies game.  We are required to buy these tickets a month in advance to get the group rate **
               
Downtown Denver 16th Street Mall
Those that would rather take advantage of the Nightlight in Denver will have that chance on Friday, July 18.  The bus will stop at the 16th Street mall after it drops off the Rockies game attendees.  The 16th Street Mall is a 1.25-mile long, tree-lined pedestrian mall located in the heart of Denver.  For those that don't want to walk down 16th Street, free transportation is provided by the city of Denver on every corner.  There are many shopping, dining and nightlife options in this area including: Johnny Rockets restaurant, a 15 screen movie theater, Hard Rock Cafe Denver, The Paramount Restaurant, Maggiano's Little Italy, ESPNZone, The Purple Martini, Lucky Strike bowling lanes, and the Cheesecake Factory, to name a few.  The 16th Street Mall is located just 4 blocks from Coors Field, where the Rockies game will be played.
           
Boulder, Colorado
Beautiful Boulder, Colorado, is settled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, only 25 minutes from the Doubletree.  Boulder is home to the university of Colorado campus as well as the Whole Foods home offices, and prides itself on being one of the best towns for bicycling in the nation.  Attractions worth checking out include: Boulder Creek Path, a 7-mile long paved path that runs alongside Boulder creek; the Dushanbe Teahouse; Celestial Seasonings Tea company tours; Gateway Park Fun Center; and the Pearl Street Mall.  The Pearl Street Mall is a four-block long pedestrian mall that contains great shopping, art galleries, sidewalk cafes and charming street performers.  Boulder also boasts many parks and outdoor activities, including kayaking, biking, hiking trails and rock climbing.  Maps are available on the city of Boulder's website.  There are also many family-friendly activities that are easily walkable. The RTD will take visitors to Boulder for a roundtrip rate of approximately $7.00.
   
Westminster area Attractions
The Doubletree North Denver is located in Westminster, Colorado, just outside of Denver.  The city of Westminster has many attractions, and several that may be accessible by the hotel's shuttle.  Activities and attractions include: the Butterfly and Insect Pavillion, Hyland Hills Water World, Adventure Golf and Raceway, and the Westminster Promenade "pedestrian village", which is home to a 24-screen movie theater, ice rink, bowling lanes, numerous restaurants, and a Dave & Buster's.  Cultural attractions in Westminster include the historic Westminster Castle, built from red sandstone found in the area, and the Bowles House museum.  Westminster is also known for its outdoor lifestyle and has several golf courses and many hiking and biking trails located throughout the city.  There are also over 60 city parks!
